Best of the Best Awards
Each year, the New Mexico Ski Hall of Fame, along with Ski New Mexico, recognizes the Best of the Best in the state’s ski industry. This distinguished award celebrates outstanding employees who elevate the New Mexico ski experience.
Award Categories
Nominate employees in one of the following categories:
- Customer Service (e.g., food service, ski service/ambassador, etc.)
- Rental Shop
- Ski Patrol
- Mountain Operations (e.g., lift operator, snowmaker, groomer)
- Ski/Snowboard Instructor
Selection Criteria
It can be challenging to choose just one nominee from such a talented group of employees. Consider the following as you make your selection:
- Does your nominee provide the highest level of customer service? (Can you provide examples?)
- How do they contribute to the guest experience?
- How do they support the company’s overall success?
- Are they a team player within their department and across the company?
- Do they promote and adhere to safety guidelines?
- Do they exhibit leadership qualities?
- Do they have a strong work ethic?
- Do they possess unique skills or a mastery level of skills that enhance the ski experience?
Rules and Restrictions
- One recipient will be selected for each category.
- If your candidate is not selected this year, you are welcome to resubmit their name in future years if they continue to excel.
- Deadline for submission: End of day, April 1, 2025.
- Submissions must be complete to be considered.
Recognition
Award recipients will be recognized in a Ski NM press release and honored at the Hall of Fame Annual Banquet.
- Award notifications and banquet details will be provided by the Ski NM Executive Director.
