Kids rule! Really! It’s never been a better time to be a kid in New Mexico. Children enjoy discounted or even free tickets at several resorts in New Mexico. These awesome deals for skiing and snowboarding can turn a fun vacation into an affordable family adventure!

5th Graders

Ski free at Sipapu and Angel Fire Resort! Just bring your report card and get ready to have a great time!

4th Graders

Not a fifth-grader yet? No worries! Fourth-graders ski free at Sipapu.

6 and Under

Ski free at Angel Fire Resort, Pajarito Mountain, and Taos Ski Valley (with a paying adult).

Under 46” Tall

Children under 46” tall in ski or snowboard boots ski for free at Sandia Peak! At Ski Santa Fe, children under 46” tall can get a $70 season pass.

Kids Ski Free with Parents

Sipapu knows that kids rule, so they host two Kids Ski Free Weeks! Ski from Dec. 12 to 16 or Jan. 16 to 20 and get a free teen or child lift ticket with every adult ticket. Red River Ski & Summer Area gives free lift tickets to children under 12 when their parents stay at a participating lodging facility and purchase a 3+ day lift ticket. (Don’t worry, parents; they have Parents Ski Free Weeks too!)

Kids Learn to Ski and Snowboard

For the last five years, every ski resort in New Mexico has offered a superb deal for beginners aged 6-12. For only $50, they can have a lesson, lift ticket, and equipment rental for one day. Just go between Jan. 2 and Jan. 31. What a steal!Be sure to call ahead of your trip and see what deals you can find for your kiddos!
