The days are getting shorter and the snow is falling, and we all know that means ski season is here! We’ve been waiting all year for snow to pour back on the mountains so we can get our skis and boards out and hit the slopes. Our favorite ski areas have been hard at work to make sure that when our skis first hit the powder, we’ll have an enjoyable time. Here are some of the updates that have been made at resorts across New Mexico!

/wp:headingwp:paragraphWe know you love spending a day or weekend at Ski Santa Fe, and they want to make sure your favorite runs are operational as much as possible. This year, they’ve added snowmaking capabilities to Gayway and Upper Gayway, meaning you’ll have a smoother ride regardless of the actual snowfall this year. While you’re at it, cruise by Totomoff’s Bar, which you can find mid-mountain. They have also added a tram car for expanded beverage service! We’re never ones to turn down a beverage after a long day skiing or even a quick pit stop mid-run to fuel up! Be sure to grab a drink and spend some great time at Ski Santa Fe with friends.

From the airport, you can easily rent a car of your own or use the ground shuttle in Taos to make it where you need to go.
