Honorary Inductee
Bob Parker
Ski area legend, Robert Parker, was the driving force behind the New Mexico Ski Hall of Fame. Mr. Parker, lately a resident of Santa Fe, served in the famed 10th Mountain Division during World War II, was one of the original founders and promoters of Vail Resort, sat on the first board of the Colorado Ski Hall of Fame, and was himself honored with induction into both the Colorado and U.S. National Ski Halls of Fame.
He was a founding member of the New Mexico Winter Sports Alliance which, along with Ski New Mexico, helped bring into existence the New Mexico Ski Hall of Fame and served on the Board of Directors. Bob passed away at age 94 in 2017.
