North Central RTD, the Blue Bus, provides seasonal service to and from three ski resorts in New Mexico. Ski bus service is fare free and has air filtration systems equipped with Proair HEPA-3 filters to keep the air clean and mountain fresh.
The Blue Bus offers service to ski areas during the winter season, which typically runs November through April. Service is provided to Ski Santa Fe in Santa Fe County, Taos Ski Valley and Red River Ski Area in Taos County.
For a better-connected North Central New Mexico, the Blue Bus makes connections with other routes across over 10,000 square miles.
Santa Fe County
The Blue Bus offers service between South Capital Station and Ski Santa Fe daily.
Routes
The 255 Mountain Trail route operates 365 days a year, with winter service typically running November through April and nonwinter service typically running April through November. Providing service from the South Capitol Rail Runner Station to areas throughout Downtown Santa Fe, up Hyde Park Road, with a stop at Ten Thousand Waves, trailheads in the Santa Fe National Forest and to Ski Santa Fe.
Taos County
The Blue Bus will start service from the town of Taos to Taos Ski Valley during the winter ski season. Call us to confirm service.
Routes
The 341 TSV Green route operates seasonal winter service, typically running from December to March. Providing fare-free service through the Town of Taos, El Prado, Arroyo Seco, Valdez to the Village of Taos Ski Valley.
The 310 Red River route provides fare-free service to and from Questa and Red River Ski Area. The 310 Red River route has been temporarily suspended due to staffing shortages and hiring challenges, if you would like to apply as a driver, please send in an application.
