Q: Does the Member Pass still exist?
We have rebranded the Member Pass as the Ski New Mexico True Pass to more accurately reflect the purpose and identity of the pass.

Q: When does the Ski New Mexico True Pass go on sale?
Monday, September 16. We have a limited number of passes and historically they have sold out
within 24 hours so be sure to mark your calendars and purchase early.

Q: Is it possible to get on a reminder – pre launch notification list?
Yes. To be notified when passes go on sale, please fill out the contact us form.

Q: What are the 2024-2025 participating resorts?

Q: How do I purchase a pass?
Through the Ski New Mexico website on September 16, 2024 and/or through the link provided in the sale notification email.

Q: Can I purchase a pass directly through the ski areas?
The Ski New Mexico True Pass is only available through Ski New Mexico. You can, however, purchase passes specific to each ski area through the ski area of choice.

Q: Is the Ski New Mexico True Pass a printed pass / coupon book?
No. The Pass is digital. No need to worry about a lost or forgotten card.

Q: How many lift tickets are included with each pass?
2 per participating resort. (14 Ski Area Full-Day Lift Tickets + 2 Sandia Peak Tramway Tickets)

Q: Are there blackout dates?
Yes. Christmas December 27 – January 4; Martin Luther King Weekend: January 18 & 19; Presidents Weekend: February 15 & 16; Spring Break March 8-March 13

Q: Can I use the Tram Tickets anytime throughout the year?
No. The Tram Tickets are good November through April.

Q: Can more than 1 person use the same pass?
Yes. Provided the primary pass holder is physically present at the time of redemption, which takes
place at the ski area ticket window.

Q: How do I use my pass to redeem 16 lift tickets?
During the ski season, go to any participating ski area ticket window and present your driver’s license or other photo ID to the ticket agent. The ski area will look up your account in our system, and they will give you the lift ticket for that day.

Q: Can I purchase more than 1 pass at a time?
Yes.

Q: Why do I have to create an account?
We need you to create an online account during your Ski New Mexico True Pass purchase, so you can redeem the lift tickets at each participating ski area. Once established, your account will carry over for subsequent year purchases.

Q: Why do you need my photo?
We need you to upload a photo to help us ensure that the correct account is being redeemed at lift ticket windows. We do not share your photo or information with other companies. 

Q: Do I have to sign a liability release?
Yes. An online liability release will be required when you set up your profile. Any guests that use the pass will be bound by the ticket release and/or required to sign an individual liability release as well.

Q: Can I use all 16 lift tickets at 1 ski area?
No. You can use two visits at each resort.

Q: Can I use the pass at more than on ski resort on the same day.
Yes. Provided the primary pass holder is present.

Q: Can I return the pass for a refund if the snow is not good or my New Mexico travel plans change?
No. Due to the limited number of passes available for retail, this product is non-refundable. You can, however, gift the pass to someone else by providing them the profile link.

Q: Are there discounts on the Ski New Mexico True Pass for children, students, military, or seniors?
No. The pass is already significantly discounted off ticket window pricing. The various ski areas may provide individual ticket discounts online and at the ticket window for children, students, military and seniors.

Q: Does the pass include equipment rentals?
No. Rentals are available through the individual ski areas as well as local communities. We recommend you make rental reservations in advance to ensure availability.

Q: Will reservations be required?
No. Please note, however, that the following blackout dates do apply: Christmas December 27 – January 4; Martin Luther King Weekend: January 18 & 19; Presidents Weekend: February 15 & 16; Spring Break March 8-March 13.

Q: I purchased more than one pass, how do I assign them to family or friends?
During the purchase process, you will be asked to assign a guest for each pass. It is necessary to assign a guest to each pass before the season starts so they can redeem their lift tickets at the ski areas.

Q: I did not receive a confirmation email. What should I do?
Sometimes confirmation emails are caught in spam filters and they may be found in your Spam or Junk Folder. Do a search of your received emails from: snow@skinewmexico.com. If you still can’t find your confirmation email, notify us at snow@skinewmexico.com and we’ll let you know if your pass has been activated.

Q: What is the last date of the ski season?
The New Mexico Ski Areas have varying closure dates and may change based on weather conditions. Please view their websites for that information as it is subject to change.
