purchase.
Q: When does the Ski New Mexico True Pass go on sale?
The Ski New Mexico True Pass goes on sale on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 6:00
a.m. MT. Quantities are limited, and passes have historically sold out within hours, so be
sure to mark your calendar and purchase early.
Q: Is it possible to get on a reminder or pre-launch notification list?
Yes. To be notified when passes go on sale, please complete the Contact Us form on
the Ski New Mexico website.
Q: What are the participating resorts?
Angel Fire Resort, Pajarito Mountain, Red River Ski & Summer Area, Sandia Peak Ski
Area, Sipapu Ski & Summer Resort, Ski Santa Fe, Taos Ski Valley, and the Sandia Peak
Tramway.
Q: What is the cost of the Ski New Mexico True Pass?
The cost is $600 plus credit card processing fees. Additional resort fees may apply upon
redemption, including RFID card fees, Forest Service fees, and other applicable
charges.
Q: How do I purchase a pass?
Passes may be purchased through the Ski New Mexico website beginning September
10, 2026, at 6:00 a.m. MT. A purchase link will also be included in the sale notification
email.
Q: Can I purchase a pass directly through the ski areas?
No. The Ski New Mexico True Pass is available exclusively through Ski New Mexico.
Individual ski areas may offer their own season passes and products.
Q: Is the Ski New Mexico True Pass a printed pass or coupon book?
No. The True Pass is completely digital—there is no physical card to lose or forget.
Q: How many lift tickets are included with each pass?
Each Ski New Mexico True Pass includes 14 full-day adult lift tickets—two tickets at
each participating ski area—plus two Sandia Peak Tramway tickets, for a total of 16
experiences.
Q: Are there blackout dates?
Yes. Blackout dates apply and vary by participating ski area for the 2026–2027 season.

Q: Can I use the Tramway tickets anytime throughout the year?
No. Sandia Peak Tramway tickets are valid from November 1 through April 30.
Q: Can more than one person use the same pass?
Yes, provided the primary pass holder is physically present at the time of redemption.
Q: How do I redeem my tickets?
Visit any participating ski area ticket window and present a valid photo ID. The ski area
will locate your account and issue your ticket for that day.
Q: Can I purchase more than one pass at a time?
Yes. However, each pass must be assigned to a unique individual during the purchase
process. Only one pass may be assigned to any one person.
Q: Can I transfer my pass to someone else once purchased?
No. Passes are non-transferable and non-refundable once purchased.
Q: Why do I have to create an account?
Creating an account allows participating ski areas to verify and redeem your tickets.
Your account information will carry over for future purchases.
Q: Why do you need my photo?
Your photo helps ensure the correct account is being redeemed. Ski New Mexico does
not share your photo or personal information with other companies.
Q: Do I have to sign a liability release?
Yes. An online liability release is required when setting up your profile. Individual ski
areas may require additional waivers.
Q: Can I use all 16 tickets at one ski area?
No. The pass includes two visits at each participating ski area and two Sandia Peak
Tramway tickets. Tickets may not be transferred between resorts.
Q: Can I use the pass at more than one ski resort on the same day?
Yes, provided the primary pass holder is physically present when redeeming tickets.
Q: Can I return the pass for a refund if conditions are poor or my travel plans
change?
No. Due to the limited number of passes available, all True Pass purchases are final.
Passes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Q: Are there discounts for children, students, military, or seniors?
No. The pass is already significantly discounted from window pricing. Individual ski areas
may offer their own discounts.
Q: Does the pass include equipment rentals?
No. Equipment rentals are available through individual ski areas and local communities.
Advance reservations are recommended.
Q: I purchased more than one pass. How do I assign them to family or friends?
Each pass must be assigned to a unique individual during the purchase process. Passes
are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Q: I did not receive a confirmation email. What should I do?
