New Mexico’s full service XC ski area, Enchanted Forest Enchanted Forest offers 33 km of 12 – 16 ft. wide groomed, signed, and patrolled trails for both classic and freestyle skiing.

 You’ll also find 15 km devoted to snowshoes as well as 5km of trails to ski with your dog. . We also offer a PSIA ski school, day lodge, a full ski and snowshoe rental shop with accessories and souvenirs, and on-trail overnight yurt rentals.

Open 7 days a week 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Enjoy access to miles and miles of backcountry trails! Special events are held almost every weekend .

Enchanted Forest is considered New Mexico’s premier destination for Nordic skiing with customers from all over the world. The area, now owned and operated by Ellen Miller-Goins and Geoff Goins (of Des Moines, New Mexico), has hosted the University of New Mexico (since de-funded by the university) Nordic Teams’ NCAA Re-gional Race several times , along with a number of events like “Just Desserts” Eat & Ski and the Christmas night Luminaria Tour.

Today, the area features 33 kilometers of ski trails, 15 kilometers of snowshoe trails and 5k of “dog friendly ”trails.
